The Boys

So the last blog post was from J...(ok, you probably figured that out!). I'm thinking of having him be a featured blogger once a month...whatcha think? I thought some variety may be nice...not that you'd ever get tired of me blah blah blahing...about life, clients, photography, cooking, etc! But a male point of view may not be a bad idea (Hey, hubby...if you're reading this...you better start preparing!..no pressure!)

Anyway, let's get to the good stuff....PHOTOS! :)

Pretty much every night when J gets home from work, he and Isaac wrestle on the floor in the living room..and then it's story time. Every night it's the same...J, in his work clothes (dress shirt, slacks, badge)..and Isaac in his work clothes (diaper, t-shirt)...lay together and read. It's a serously sweet moment...and i've wanted to capture it..and tonight, I finaly did..here are a few:

Thought i'd throw in something random...i didn't mention it on here yet..but we've welcomed a second baby into our lives...a new Nikon Lens! It'll always come second to isaac, but we love it as one of the family :) Anyway, i was just playing around with my new toy the other day and thought this was kind of a fun shot...(by the way, this is the closest y'all are getting to a self-portrait!)

This morning Isaac and I went to the mall to buy the little man some new shoes...Well, in addition to the shoes (and an unfortunate car battery incident..that we wont go into)...we also got this AWESOME hat! Now, i know y'all are probably thinking...why does this child need a Winter Hat in the middle of July..in CALIFORNIA! :) and i was thinking the same thing..but, seriously...could you pass this up??? He just looks so stinkin' cute!

Mr. Isaac's Neighborhod

So i've never seen Mr. Roger's neighborhood..i don't really even know what it's about. (A nice man who has lots of visitors??). Anyway, when i was thinking of a title for this post...the above seemed appropriate.

We live in a place called Sunnyvale. And yes, it's usually sunny here :) It's nothing exciting. It's not New York. It's not LA. It's not San Francisco. It's not so many other amazing beautiful places around the world. It's just our little town here in the Silicon Valley. And you know what ~ I think we are pretty darn lucky to live here. The other day Isaac and I took a stroll through our Downtown, Murphy Street. Here is a little collage of our adventure:



We've got your hookah cigar bars and cafes, we got your local whole-in-the-wall book shop where you can get lost browsing books that cost $1 and not $10, we've got the historic Del Monte building...your local belly dancing window display (complete with camels)..the neighborhood smoke shop and fun old locks. And this was all on one block. Hey, you know what..i take it back! Sunnyvale is a pretty rockin' place to lvie :)

MAJAH FACE LIFT! :) That's right people..something 'majah' (as my favorite Spice girl coined) is happening around here....our sweet little blogspot has had a big ol' face lift. So let's see...the Header is wider, the posts are wider...the sidebar is on the right and MOST IMPORTANTLY...the pictures are BIG! Yahooo....i gotta say, this is a big deal here....i've had so many people say "the pictures are TOO SMALL!". Well, after a yr of being lazy about it..we decided to customize a bit. And here we are. So what do you think? Should we roll with it?

Isaac got his hair washed yesterday, Daddy dried it and then he went to sleep.

THIS is what he woke up with! Faux Hawk all the way :) I swear i did nothing to this gorgeous style...just clicked the camera. Maybe someone can explain to me however...why his bangs are stick straight down..and the middle is sticking straight up. Anyone??
